We provide pickup from nearby schools, allowing students to transition directly from the school day into a structured and supervised afternoon environment.

School pickup, guided academic support, and optional athletic and artistic pathways are all available in one location.

WHERE STRUCTURE SUPPORTS GROWTH

Omei Academy provides a structured academic after-school environment where students receive guided academic support in a supervised setting.

Beyond academics, students have opportunities to pursue athletic and artistic development through structured pathways in music, visual arts, Wushu, and Taichi.

A TYPICAL AFTERNOON AT OMEI

Daily Program Structure

Our after-school program follows a predictable daily rhythm centered on a structured academic block, with optional athletic and artistic pathways available afterward.

All students follow the same time and day structure, creating consistency and routine across the program.

Arrival Window & Transition

Approximately 2:00–3:45 PM

Students arrive from school at staggered times.

Upon arrival, students:

• check in with staff

• complete homework, reading, or other quiet academic activities

• have a snack

Because students arrive at different times, this portion of the afternoon is intentionally flexible while maintaining overall structure.

All students receive snack time and academic support regardless of arrival time within the arrival window.

Academic Block (Required)

3:50–5:30 PM

Includes a short supervised break.

English & Math

Individualized practice aligned to each student’s level. Students read instructions, work independently, and ask questions as needed. Teachers monitor progress and provide support as needed.

Chinese

Structured small-group instruction with direct teaching and guided practice aligned to proficiency level.

Athletic & Artistic Pathways (Optional)

5:30–7:00 PM

Students may continue into their selected structured skill-development track.

• Taichi

• Piano & Music Theory

• Visual Arts
